Privacy Policy

CodeFlowACLS is designed as an offline-first, local-first workflow and documentation aid for trained clinicians.

Effective July 7, 2026

Information entered into the app

Users may enter or generate workflow information including:

  • Event times and medication logs.
  • Airway, access, and reversible-cause notes.
  • Location, unit, handoff, ROSC, TOD, and post-code notes.
  • Pre-CodeFlow or EMS report notes.

Free-text fields can contain sensitive information. Do not enter patient-identifying information unless permitted by facility policy and applicable law.

Local storage and processing

The current app processes workflow data locally on the device. It does not require an account, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, HealthKit, or a backend service.

Data collection

McCarthy Meridian Group LLC does not collect data from the current app. The app does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs and does not transmit workflow data to the developer.

Exports, print, and share

Users can generate summaries and invoke device print, save, and share flows. These actions are user controlled. Exported documents may contain sensitive information if a user entered it.

Users are responsible for handling exported summaries according to facility policy, privacy obligations, and applicable law.

Third-party and system services

The current app does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Apple system services may be used when a user chooses to print, save, or share an export.

Children's privacy

CodeFlowACLS is intended for trained clinicians and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated before a future version adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, crash reporting, backend storage, payments, or other developer-accessible data collection.
